The Write Tool for Aseprite is now released and won't receive any new features. The reason for this is that I'd like to spend time on some new projects. Even though, bugs will still be fixed.

• Live Edit: See the changes while typing
• Font styling: Underline and Strikethrough
• Change font-size (using brush thickness and doubled position?)
  
• Support Unicode characters
• Single Undo: Be able to undo the last write with a single CTRL+Z (V1.5)
  
• Script to add your own font from an image (V1.4)
  
• Text alignment options: left, center and right (V1.3)
• Dynamically show if all entered text is supported by the current chosen font (V1.3)
• Add \t (tab) and \\ (backslash) to supported escape characters (V1.2)
• Change the name of layers to the written text at creation (V1.2)
• Add a color picker (V1.2)
• Add support for multiple fonts (V1.2)
• Support multi-line text (V1.1)
• Reuse the first added layer (V1.1)
• Change MAX_SUPPORTED_CHARS to 128 (V1.1)
